Aquadrain 100BD, a 1” (25 mm) thick strip drainage composite designed for collection and transport of water to the discharge pipes at the base of the wall, is used in conjunction with Aquadrain sheet drainage composites to provide an uninterrupted drainage flow path to the discharge pipes. The large 1” (25 mm) thick 3-dimensional core of Aquadrain 100BD has a flow capacity of 97 gallons per minute (1,197 l/m). Aquadrain 100BD works with all Aquadrain sheet drainage composites and is a cost-effective, reliable replacement for typical slotted pipe and gravel collection systems at the base of the wall.

Standard outlets, corners, and transition components are available to make installation quick and easy.
Aquadrain 100BD collection composite provides rapid removal of water along the base of the foundation wall to reduce hydrostatic pressure and the probability of water infiltration into the structure. The base drain composite consists of a 3-dimensional polymeric core with a non-woven filter fabric bonded to the outside. The filter fabric allows water to pass to the drain core while restricting the passage of soil particles.

Aquadrain 100BD is a reliable alternative to slotted pipe with surrounding gravel collection. Combined installation and material cost is usually less than half that for slotted pipe with surrounding gravel collection wrapped with a geotextile.
